Home Page Pays has arrived. Home page pays is a new system that allows anyone to share in Internet advertising revenue simply by displaying a web page while they are surfing the Internet. The rewards at the moment come in the form of points that can be used to gain discounts on Internet purchases and also in the form of prizes from a draw that can be entered once a day for both a weekly and monthly draw.

So you can enter the weekly draw 7 times and the monthly draw for as many days as there are in the month. When you register with the system you are allocated your own URL address for Home Page Pays and by sharing that URL with friends and family you can qualify yourself for the sharing prizes that are also given away to the free members (that win) simply for sharing the system with friends.

It doesn't stop there, the HPP system provides online entertainment, training modules, virus free software downloads an online university and loads of other really useful tools. All for free.

Gite in France with a Pool

A Gite in France with a Pool is for the uninitiated, a self catering apartment in France with a pool. I didn't realise previously but the term 'gite' for many people is misconstrued to be a spelling mistake for the word 'site'.

I then realised that when you are familiar with a term it is very easy to become complacent and assume that everyone else knows what the terminology is as well. To be fair anyone at all acquainted  with France would most likely know the term but there is a great big world out there that is completely unfamiliar with France the country, the language and the culture, which when properly considered is exactly what should be expected, why would the whole world be familiar with France, or even Europe for that matter.

In way of explanation then, gites came about as a government initiative in France to help out farmers who were struggling to make a living. They introduced a simple arrangement, that was free of the bureaucracy normally associated  with France, where farmers could refurbish spare buildings and offer affordable self catering accommodation to holiday makers or anyone else requiring cheap accommodation.

Many British caught onto this idea and saw it as a way of easily starting a business in France with very little associated documentation.  You do have to register a business in France for tax purposes, but other than that as long as you don't break the rules with respect to offering food or drink and the number of bedrooms, you can offer accommodation for holiday makers with very little fuss. Since the introduction of the 'Auto Entrepreuner' a quick and easy way to start a business in France, this has actually become even simpler.

The French model for a gite was that people would arrive, bring their own bedding and towels, cater for themselves and then return the accommodation to the same level of cleanliness as when they arrived; in other words they would also clean it themselves before leaving. This meant that the farmers could get on with the business of farming and let the gite pretty much take care of itself whilst providing much needed additional income.

The British, on the other hand, raised the game and many offer what would be considered luxury accommodation, which is a world apart from the original French concept of a gite. The reason for this is relatively simple, the British holiday maker, to a large extent, is looking for at the very least a home from home environment or, at the very best, accommodation they could consider a luxurious treat; which in the South of France certainly would mean that it came with a pool. Ideally a pool that had exclusive use and did not have to be shared.

So effectively anyone setting up a luxurious gite in France, and it isn't just the British any more, were catering to an alternative market. They were looking for holiday makers that could afford and wanted a bit of luxury. People who wanted to arrive at the location and not have to worry about bringing everything with them or having to clean up when leaving. Many were also looking for exclusive use of the facilities which would of course mean a pool but might also include facilities such as private gardens, games rooms or games facilities and al fresco eating areas.

France is the most visited country in Europe and there is plenty of travel advice available dedicated to visitors to France which details the amazing scope of facilities available for all types of holidays and associated budgets. So you can see that having a gite in France with a pool is going to appeal to many of those holiday makers that want a bit of luxury in between trips out to places of interest.

Holiday Destinations in France will help you identify a few of the top holiday places to visit and also help you get there.

tourist places in France

Some of the best holiday destinations to visit in France are located in the Southern areas. In and around the Languedoc Roussillon region you will find a selection of tourist places to visit in France that would be hard to beat. Fabulous cosmopolitan cities, places of historic interest, a Mediterranean fishing port and Cathar fortresses.

France is the most visited country in Europe, closely followed by Spain. Italy and the UK. When you consider the rich culture, architecture and history of Europe it's not hard to see why France tops the bill, it has all those in abundance.

Not that the others don't just perhaps not to the same extent of preservation.

To arrange for the refinancing of a home mortgage the first thing you are going to need is patience. It certainly isn't going to happen over night and if you feel you are facing foreclosure then you are going to feel pretty frustrated.

This is perfectly understandable but you need to take a deep breath and then start to take reasonable and rational action. But you will be glad to hear that there is help available if you are struggling to make your mortgage payments or if you are facing foreclosure. This is either through the Making Home Affordable Program or by contacting your current lender.

The first thing you will need to do is gather together the information your lender will need to ease the process.

  • You will need your most recent tax return

  • You will also need your most recent pay stubs

  • You need a copy of your monthly mortgage statements for all the mortgages you have if you have more than one

  • You will also need to explain why you are in a situation of hardship with a letter i.e. why you are struggling to meet your payments

To release your most recent tax return you will probably have to fill in a form 4506T-EZFORM so that the revenue services can release the information to your lender.

Make copies of all the documents so that you when you submit them all to your lender, you can keep the originals in case any of the documents get lost and need to be replaced. It can happen so make sure you have it covered.

Once you have all the documents together, you can contact the lender and request a 'request for modification affidavit'. If you don't know the name and address of your lender you should be able to find it on your monthly statements or your coupon.

Then you need to complete the affidavit and send it in with all the copies of the required documentation, remembering to keep the originals and requesting receipts for everything. Also make sure every document is marked with your loan number and name so that there is a point of reference should any document get separated from the main pack. That way if it does there is a chance that it can be returned to the file when found.

Knowing when you sent in information is extremely useful when you need to make a progress enquiry, so keep a record of everything you send it and when, whether that is using emails or hard copy. Ask your lender when you can expect a response and if you don't hear back in that time frame get back in touch to see what the status is. But do it in a calm and rational way, losing your cool is likely to have the opposite to the desired affect so you need to be rational.

The other thing you need to be aware of is avoiding scams, if you are trying to refinance your home mortgage and someone tells you that you need to pay for advice then walk away. A certified HUD approved housing counselor or agency provides help and advice on this process for free.

You can find more information about refinancing a home mortgage and the eligibility criteria via this link.

If you think you need to find a different lender to help with refinancing your home mortgage you can find some suggestions for doing that using this link, but your starting point is your current lender.
